The Andy Fanshawe Memorial Trust gives grants to groups of disadvantaged young people to take part in exciting outdoor activities. The Trust was set up in memory of Andy Fanshawe who was a leading British mountaineer at the time of his death in 1992.
Who can apply?
Grants are usually given to outdoor activity projects run by schools or youth groups in the UK. Individuals can also apply but they will need a referee to support their application. Eligible activities include walking, climbing, cycling, kayaking, sailing, horse riding and residential courses at outdoor centres. Activities must take place in the UK.
Small grants are awarded.
