celebrationThis is a new grant from the Big Lottery Fund which aims to bring people together to celebrate their communities. Project ideas include local history events, a celebration of local heroes or neighbourhood activities. Example of past projects under the celebration theme can be found on the Big Lottery Fund website.

Priority will be given to applications that

  • Bring communities together to celebrate and share their diverse cultures
  • Actively bring different generations together.

What is available?

Grants of between £300 and £10,000 are available. There is a total of £3.875 million available.

Schools, statutory bodies and voluntary or community organisations can apply.

Projects must take place in England and be open to everyone in the community.

There is an application form to complete.
