erasmusThis is an opportunity for organisations working with young people outside the formal education sector. Funds are given to supporting learning mobility activity which is a planned learning activity in another country.

There are three types of learning mobility activities:

  1. Youth exchanges (for groups of young people aged 13 to 30 from different countries to meet and live together for up to 21 days). Young people will work together on a chosen topic involving trips, workshops and outdoor activities.

2. European Voluntary Service (for young people aged 17 to 30 to undertake full time voluntary service for up to 12 months in another country within or outside the European Union). Voluntary service may take place in health and social care, environmental conservation or other community projects. Young people can volunteer individually or in a group. Organisations wishing to send or host volunteers through this programme will need to apply for accreditation. Full details are available on the Erasmus+ website.

3. Training or networking for the professional development of youth workers. This can include job shadowing, seminars, training courses, contact-making events and study visits.

One or more activity can be combined to make up your mobility project.
