To celebrate the 60th year of grant giving, the Garfield Weston Foundation has launched a new one-off fund for community projects.

What is available?

Grants of between £30,000 and £150,000 are available for capital projects that benefit communities.

Funding is available for:

  • New or improved community facilities
  • New playground or equipment (including climbing walls and MUGAs) in public playing fields
  • Large equipment items.
Which organisations can apply for funding?

State schools are welcome to apply. Applications will also be considered from registered charities in the UK, CIOs and places of worship.

How do I apply?

Please read the dedicated guidelines to assess your and your project’s eligibility, available to download from the Garfield Weston Foundation’s website. There is also an eligibility quiz which you need to complete before you apply. Then there is an online application form to complete.

Apply by 30th June 2018.

Good luck!
