Inspire your geography students!

The Royal Geographical Society has a special grants programme for schools – it is known as the Innovative Geography Teaching Grants.

Who is eligible to apply?

It provides funding to geography teachers in secondary schools to help them develop imaginative and creative educational resources. Projects need to involve a partnership with a university lecturer or researcher.

This year the theme is international development, so projects should focus on this.

What is available?

Each year, two grants, each worth £1,000, are awarded.

How do I apply?

You can download the application form on the Royal Geographical Society website. You’ll also find case studies of previous winners here.

The deadline is 15th February 2015.
