Would your school like to host a teacher from Germany? This is a wonderful opportunity from the UK-German Connection for pupils to learn about German culture, broaden their horizons and increase their intercultural awareness. For schools where the German language is taught, both pupils and teachers will have to chance to exercise their German speaking skills and gain confidence in talking in the language.

If your application is successful, your school will host a German teacher for two or three weeks between September 2016 and July 2017.

Who is eligible to apply?

Primary, secondary and special schools and FE colleges are welcome to apply. Schools do not need to have German on the curriculum to be eligible to apply.

How do I apply?

There is an application form to complete and grant guidelines can be found on the UK German Connection website. The deadline is 21st September 2016.
