school gardening

As part of the WWF’s Plant2Plate Campaign for schools, a new competition has been launched, giving schools the chance to win £1,000.

What is it?

Primary school pupils are invited to invent a tasty recipe using fruit and vegetables grown on their own school grounds.

The winning school will receive £1,000 to spend on gardening or cooking equipment. The top 50 winning recipes will also be published in a recipe book.

How do I apply?

Schools need to be registered for the WWF’s Green Ambassadors Scheme.

The deadline for entries is 5pm on 18th January 2016.

Recipes should be sent by email to or by post to Green Ambassadors Recipe Competition, WWF-UK, The Living Planet Centre, Rufford House, Brewery Road, Woking, Surrey, GU21 4LL.

Competition terms and conditions can be found on the WWF website.
