As part of the WWF’s Plant2Plate Campaign for schools, a new competition has been launched, giving schools the chance to win £1,000.
What is it?
Primary school pupils are invited to invent a tasty recipe using fruit and vegetables grown on their own school grounds.
The winning school will receive £1,000 to spend on gardening or cooking equipment. The top 50 winning recipes will also be published in a recipe book.
How do I apply?
Schools need to be registered for the WWF’s Green Ambassadors Scheme.
The deadline for entries is 5pm on 18th January 2016.
Recipes should be sent by email to greenambassadors@wwf.org.uk or by post to Green Ambassadors Recipe Competition, WWF-UK, The Living Planet Centre, Rufford House, Brewery Road, Woking, Surrey, GU21 4LL.
Competition terms and conditions can be found on the WWF website.
