This is a new primary school competition from Young Writers. Sense Poetry invites pupils aged 5 to 7 to create an original poem whilst investigating the world around them through their senses.

There are great prizes for winning pupils and their schools.

For schools, there is a first prize of £1,000 and a second prize of £500 worth of books for your library. Third prize is four Exploring Your Senses Kits to use in the classroom.

Winning pupils will each receive a personalised notebook and a Berol handwriting pen.

Every pupil who enters the competition will receive a bookmark.
