The Ministry of Defence (MoD) is providing funding to organisations in the UK to help them host an Armed Forces Day event this summer.

What is it?

Armed Forces Day takes place on Saturday 30th June 2018. Funding is available to help host activities or events that show support for the UK’s servicemen and women, past and present.

What is available?

You can apply for funding of up to £10,000.

Lots of events are supported, from picnics to street parties, and parades to concerts.

Who can apply?

Applications are welcomed from a wide range of organisations, including schools, local councils, voluntary and community groups, ex-service organisations and individuals in the UK.

How do I apply?

To apply, you need to first register your event. You will then be given access to details about the application process.

The deadline for applications is 30th April 2018.
