Who can apply?

Any not for profit organisation can apply for an environmental grant. Preference will be given to small, locally based and community led organisations with a turnover not in excess of £300,000 per annum. Schools are encouraged to apply and will be given the same level of priority as small locally based organisations.

Grants will be awarded to organisations in England, Scotland and Wales.

Grants are more likely to be made to organisations based near Greggs shops.

What is available?

Grants of up to £2,000 are available. Grants can be used for projects that improve the physical environment in ways that improve people’s live. Grant can cover the cost of equipment, sessional salary costs, trees and plants and learning activities.

Priority will be given to projects that also include one or more of the following:

  • Improves the local environment
  • Ensures involvement of local communities
  • Delivers a sustainable and measurable difference
  • Supports people in need.
How do I apply?

There is an online application form to complete. A link can be found on the Greggs website.

Round 1 (2017) is now open and closes on 3rd March 2017 with results being announced no later than 28th April 2017.
