What is it?
As part of the Tesco’s Farm to Fork programme, schools can sign up to participate in visits to see what goes on behind the scenes at Tesco stores, distribution centres and supplier facilities. A trained Farm to Fork Trail guide will host your visit and hold activities that teach pupils about food growing and food preparation.
If you can’t travel to a store or centre, you can request a Farm to Fork Trail guide to come to your group and deliver an interactive talk. There is also an online field trip option where you can engage with guides and suppliers via Google+ hangouts and download free classroom resources and activities to help you support teaching on food and food production.
Who is eligible?
Schools, scouts and girlguiding groups and youth clubs can participate in the programme.
