The Women’s Vote Centenary Grant Scheme is a £1.5 million government fund that will support local and community groups across England in celebrating the centenary of women gaining the right to vote.

What is available?

There are two types of funds.

  1. Small grants of between £300 and £2,000 for grassroots projects to run small-scale events and activities to celebrate the centenary of women gaining the vote.
  2. Large grants of between £2,000 and £125,000. These will fund projects that increase the understanding of, and engagement with, democracy, and encourage women to participate in public life.
Who can apply?

Any voluntary or community organisation, school, college and university can apply.

How do I apply?

There is an online application form to complete. Guidance notes are available on the Women’s Vote Centenary Fund website.

To apply for a small grant:

Round 2 will open on 15th March 2018 and closes on 18th May 2018.

Round 3 will open on 12th July 2018 and closes on 14th September 2018.

To apply for a large grant:

Round 2 will be open in April 2018 for projects between £2,000 and £65,000. Keep checking the Women’s Vote Centenary Fund website for an update on the grant deadline.
