Rachel helped me to secure an additional £87,000 of external funding. This ranged from two Awards for All grants for two separate schools, one to set up an ICT club and one for playground equipment, to applications to local trusts for garden club funding and further play equipment. We also won cricket kits for our pupils and a day spent at Lords training with Alastair Cook the England captain. Now that's a day the cricket team will never forget!
