Apply for funding

The Education Endowment Foundation (EEF) is a grant-making charity dedicated to helping children from disadvantaged backgrounds reach their full potential. It plans to invest at least £210 million from 2011 to 2026.

General funding round

EEF has a general funding round, suitable for projects that improve the educational attainment of pupils who are eligible for free school meals.

Projects must focus on raising the attainment of economically disadvantaged pupils, have evidence that it will have a positive impact on academic outcomes and be scalable.

Who can apply?

Primary and secondary schools are eligible to apply. Other eligible organisations include charities, local authorities, universities, social enterprises and community interest companies.

Projects must benefit schools in England.

How do I apply?

You need to submit an initial application form.

Currently, there are two funding rounds a year.

If you want to apply in this round, please submit your application by 5pm on 1st April 2015.
