This is a fantastic opportunity to secure grant funding for energy saving projects in school.

What is it?

E.ON has launched the Energy Action Fund as part of their commitment to helping communities manage their energy consumption more effectively.

What is available?

You can apply for a grant of between £50 and £2,000 depending on the size of the project and its impact on the community.

Grants can be used for a range of activities, from renewable energy to energy saving training and sustainable energy education workshops. Priority will be given to projects focused on reducing energy use and renewable energy.

To be successful in securing funding, you must show how your project will:

1. Result in the creation of renewable energy and / or a reduction in the amount of energy used.
2. Be directly related to energy and have a positive impact on the local community.
3. Involve and / or have consent from the local community.
4. Be sustainable beyond support from the E.ON Energy Action Fund.

Who can apply?

The following organisations are eligible to apply:

  • Schools
  • Registered charities
  • Community groups
  • Community amateur sports

How do I apply?

You can download an application form from the E.ON website and submit it by email. The deadline for applications is 8th April 2016.
